Outside of a sixteen-month hiatus from early 2020 to mid-2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic pushed the pause button on live performances around the globe, Jazz Night has, since 1999, offered three hours of classic jazz on Friday nights featuring, almost exclusively, artists based in the D.C. and Baltimore metro regions.
